In 1991, a crack team of teenagers was sentenced to a lifetime of sensible employment for a crime they didn’t commit — enjoying themselves far too much in crappy but much-loved provincial nightclubs.
The evidence against them was overwhelming. The pop charts of the eighties. The dry ice, the strobes and the questionable trousers of the nineties. Sentence was duly passed: the mortgage, the commute, the reasonable bedtime.
Today, having escaped into middle age, they survive as DJs of fortune.

The less dramatic version
Friends who grew up on eighties pop and nineties dance music, and who have recently rediscovered that mixing records is enormously good fun. We are not a professional DJ outfit and we are not pretending to be one. We are, however, very well equipped — which turns out to be most of the battle.
Someone once said that DJing is simply playing music you love for people you love, and that is about as far as our philosophy goes. For us that means house, disco, EDM and pop — old and new, in whatever order the room seems to want. House rules: no Stairway, no Mr Brightside, no Sex on Fire. Denied.
